OUR CONGREGATION AND COVID-19

With great concern for the health of our congregation and our local community, the church building is currently closed to all but essential staff. Worship services, Bible studies, and other meetings are being hosted online, and all in-person activities are suspended until the session determines a reopening plan that can keep us safe. The church staff is currently working remotely, so email and cell phones are generally the best way to reach us. Messages left at and mail sent to the church office will be received, but possibly delayed. We will continue to update this space as changes and updates happen.

On March 15th, in response to health concerns and with a sense of responsibility for our community, the session of Saint Andrew decided to suspend all in-person church activities until the end of the month. In adherence with Virginia's shelter-in-place order, on March 29th the session decided to close the church building to any non-essential visits until at least June 10th. On May 17th the session responded to the early relaxation of that order by establishing a Reopening Team to determine our church's plan for returning to worship in the coming month. At the moment, anyone other than staff who would like to enter the building should first contact one of the pastors. The session will continue to re-evaluate and update our plans as needed.
