PT Publications Specialist - position starting August 15

Saint Andrew is seeking applicants for our part-time (15 hours per week) publications specialist position. The publications specialist will prepare and disseminate weekly printed materials, manage Saint Andrew’s media presence, and streamline communications within the church community. The applicant will be expected to be proficient in creating church bulletins and newsletters using Microsoft Word and Canva. Knowledge of overseeing the church webpage and social media will be expected. Working in the Google Workplace platform will be a plus. The position requires in-person morning hours for collaboration with the church staff, with additional hours available virtually. The payrange for this hourly position is $20.00 - $24.00/hour depending on skills and experience. A resume, two references, and a Federal background check are required. PT Childcare Worker - position currently open

Saint Andrew is seeking a staff childcare worker to provide care for children aged 0 - 3 years. Work hours throughout the year are from 8:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. for the 3rd, 4th & 5th Sunday mornings. The childcare worker will work with Saint Andrew's nursery volunteers. Applicants must be over 18, pass a federal background check for working with children, and submit a TB screen report. Pay is $13.64 per hour. Job responsibilities include:

●     Initiate developmental play experiences with children from infancy to 3 years.

●     Demonstrate ability to follow oral and written instructions.

●     Be reliable, punctual, and cheerful.

●     Work cooperatively with nursery volunteers and monthly coordinators.

●     Utilize safety measures consistent with child development.

●     If necessary, change the diapers of nursery children. Accompany children to the restroom and assist with hand-washing.

●     Confer with volunteers to determine if parents of a child should be notified if the child is sick or upset.

●     Help volunteers return all toys and learning aids to the shelves before leaving the nursery.


First Aid, childcare certifications or other appropriate courses are considered.
