Our Regular Sunday worship schedule has resumed!

Jubilee style service in the Outdoor Chapel on Sunday mornings at 9:00am

& Traditional style service in the Sanctuary on Sunday mornings at 11:00am

We are observing the following safety protocols for both worship services:

  • Due to rising transmission rates in our area and the prevalence of the delta variant, we are temporarily requiring all who are able to wear masks when indoors at SAPC, whether vaccinated or not. This requirement applies to indoor worship, Discipleship Hour, and any member group meetings that take place indoors at the church. Masks are not needed for outdoor worship and other outdoor activities.
  • Children ages three and up are asked to wear masks indoors, unless precluded by a medical issue.
  • Our pastor, choir, and other worship leaders will wear masks except when actively presenting.
  • One side of our sanctuary is row restricted to allow social distancing for those who desire it. Please be aware of your neighbors' need for space. Those who are willing should remain seated during the postlude to allow those with safety concerns to depart first.
  • When we celebrate communion on first Sundays of the month, we provide single-use prepackaged cups including a wafer and juice. Please take one as you enter worship and discard the empty cup in the marked receptacle as you leave.
  • Passing of the peace, fellowship hour, and other "close contact" practices remain modified or suspended at this time. Physical worship aids (bulletins, Bibles, hymnals) are available, as are digital options (downloads, projector screen) for those who prefer them.

The Traditional service is live-streamed on our YouTube channel
at 11:00am on Sunday for those who cannot safely attend in person.

traditional worship

Our traditional service at 11:00 a.m. in the Sanctuary on Sundays is similar to what you'll find in most mainline Protestant churches. We have corporate readings and prayers, choir and organ music, robes, hymnals, confessions of faith, Scripture readings, proclamation of the Gospel, celebration of the sacraments, and collection of offerings. If you appreciate the established rhythms of worship and connection to the ancient practices of the church, this service will speak to you.

Our 9:00 a.m. service follows the Presbyterian pattern of worship, but with more casual and informal elements. Contemporary worship music, a guitar-led praise band, abbreviated liturgy, and the relaxed atmosphere all make this service more family-friendly - especially for little ones with a lot of energy! During the summer months, the Jubilee service meets in our outdoor chapel, where you can glorify God from right in the midst of his beautiful creation.

Children between Kindergarten and 3rd grade have the opportunity to experience weekly worship at their level. Following the children's sermon about 15 minutes into the hour, children may leave the sanctuary with the class leaders to participate in storytelling, crafts, music, and other age-appropriate expressions of worship. Children's worship is offered during both services. Children are invited to remain in the sanctuary for the entire worship service on the 1st Sunday of each month, so families may take Communion together.
