In Preparation

Palm Sunday (March 28, 2021):

Our traditional Palm Sunday service will be recorded on Wednesday, March 24th, at 7:00 PM. The video for this service will be available online on Sunday, March 28th. Our Jubilee Service will be held live in the sanctuary on Sunday, March 28th at 9:00 AM.

Maundy Thursday Service (April 1, 2021):

Our sanctuary will be open from 7:00-8:00 PM for a period of guided prayer, reflection, and meditation. Come and consider the weight of the last evening Jesus spent with his disciples. Joy Siddons will coordinate the music for this event. (note: this meditation hour will take the place of our usual Maundy Thursday Communion service this year.)

Good Friday – The Seven Last Words of Christ (April 2, 2021):

We will host a special outdoor service beginning at 6:00 PM Friday evening focusing on the seven final statements Jesus made from the cross. You may walk or drive from station to station on the church grounds, listen to the Scripture readings, and meditate on the meaning of Jesus’ sacrifice. It will take approximately 30 minutes to travel through all seven stations. If you would like to participate in this service as a station reader, please contact Pastor Dave.

flowering of

the cross

Again this year we will flower the cross. The cross will be set up in the center of the Labyrinth. Members may bring flowers between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Saturday afternoon (April 3rd). There will be containers under the portico where you can leave your flowers. At 4:00 the flowers will be collected and placed on the cross.

We will host a Special Sunrise Drive-In Service at 7:00 AM Easter morning. You can tune in from your car radio, or bring a lawn chair if the weather permits. This will be a unique worship experience focused on the wonder of the empty tomb.

We will also host a live traditional service at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary. There will be special musical offerings and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. This service will be live-streamed on our YouTube channel for those who are unable to attend in person.

All of these services will adhere to our current safety protocols for Covid-19.
